We were at the airport on time, but the plane's crew wasn't. They showed up at the scheduled departure time. So, after they did their checks, etc., we boarded and backed away from the gate. Then, the pilot announced that it was too windy to take off and we had to wait for calm. We finally took off about an hour late. Good thing we had plenty of time in Dallas to make our connection!
Our first afternoon in Rapid City was free so we decided to take a walk. This is our hotel.

The downtown area has statues of the U.S. Presidents. This, of course, is JFK & John John.
