We left Yellowstone National Park and headed to neighboring Grand Teton National Park. We first stopped at another geothermal area. In Grand Teton National Park, we had lunch at Jackson Lake Lodge which JD Rockefeller paid to have built. He was instrumental in the establishment of the park. On the way to Jackson, WY, we stopped at viewing areas to take pictures of the mountains.
This is the geothermal area we viewed before leaving Yellowstone.
Self explanatory!
The Grand Teton Mountains. This is taken from a roadside viewing area.
This is a view from the hotel where we stopped for lunch. It looks kind of hazy due to the smoke from a forest fire in Yellowstone National Park. Don't worry. We weren't near the fire in Yellowstone, but we did have the smoke both days there. Of course, these pictures don't do the mountains justice!
